Eduardo R. Servello AMC

Originally from Mexico City, he is based in Los Angeles. Throughout his career he has participated in different independent circuits and international festivals. He holds a degree in Cinematography and has also taken international courses in art history and contemporary art. 

He has stood out in the cinematographic field with documentaries such as "The Last of the Winthrops" (France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Canada and the USA), "Bushido Battleground" produced by the Rey Network and filmed in Thailand, USA and Mexico, among other documentaries and series. He also photographed the first zombie film in Venezuela "Infection" which currently has distribution in 26 countries and has been presented at festivals worldwide.

His most recent work includes the feature film "Café Chairel", selected for the Mezcal Award section at the 40th Guadalajara International Film Festival and recognized in 2026 by the Pantalla de Cristal Festival. The film continues its run on the international festival circuit and was presented in Berlin in February 2026. In 2025, he shot a thriller in Serbia and is currently developing a new project in Madrid, with plans to film in 2026.

 
Eduardo’s vision embraces a diverse search for images that become the appropriate medium for each story.

Within his body of work, he has also developed an artistic street photography practice artistic street photography that has been exhibited in museums and some printed publications, commercials and music videos.

​

He has also developed a strong teaching practice, giving workshops and masterclasses at the AMC, UNAM —ENAC/CUEC—, CEC Guadalajara in collaboration with Tequila Films, and UNIAT in San Luis Potosí, where he explores visual storytelling, cinematography, and lighting from both an authorial and professional perspective.
